How Much Does Data Cost

To continue on my previous post I want to tell you a little more about data and being ripped off.  Like I was saying I hate paying for data I don't need on my cell phone.  My kids have a cell phone for school and I refuse to buy them a smart phone with data simply because of the bull crap cost.

Have you ever thought about how much you pay for data on your home internet compared with your cell phone data.  Or your kids cell phone data?  Well the difference between home internet and cell data is crazy.

The Cost Of A Cell Phone

I have a plan with one of the big three providers.  You know who they are.  I have an iPhone and I really love it.  However I hate the fact they force me into a data plan.  My city has free wifi all over the place so I really do not need any data what so ever.  So big deal right it's only $10 for the smallest package.  $10 for 50 meg or 100 depending on the provider is a complete and total rip off.

Now I'm really pissed off at the fact I'm paying all this money.  It is totally rediculis they charge that.  I would accept $2.00 or maybe $4.00 for 100 meg.  But no way is $10 acceptable.  $10 should provide no less than 500 meg in data.  That is acceptable.

But no they are totally ripping me off and I am pissed as a result.  I'm made made made.  Screw the big three providers and go somewhere else.
